I chose medicine because it provided a challenging opportunity to learn and grow, while serving the people around me. Communication is the most important factor in a good patient doctor relationship. Everything we do to and put in our bodies will affect us in some way. Healthy living will help in having healthier skin, hair, and nails. I found in medical school that I loved being able to see the problem. I love to be able to find solutions to these external manifestations that were so troubling to patients. I love that in dermatology I get to develop relationships with patients, be challenged diagnostically daily, and develop surgical skills. I was excited as I finished residency to find a practice that was well established and well respected. My family and I visited many practices and cities and are excited to be in Las Vegas where we can be close to family while working with this amazing group. Healthy skin is my passion because it is always showing! Skin, hair, and nails are an important sign of the overall health of our bodies. The most important thing you can do for your skin to prevent skin cancer and prevent aging is to wear sunscreen every day. I love playing and watching sports. I love the outdoors, especially hiking with my family. I am an avid reader of a broad range of genres. I hope to find opportunities to serve in my new community.
