Academy House Child Development Center

I think that Academy House is a very friendly place to learn things. Even for the older kids like me. When we get off from school Aftercare gives you a snack that is always up to date. We get to do our homework in peace, and at the end of the day if your lucky we get to go to the gym. Also the administrator's keep a good job leaving every thing organized. While the cook always have a good way of keeping things clean and sanitized, while the food is delicious. The teachers have also a big part to play they are all so nice and kind. They are so nice they could be like your best friend. I've been there from such a little age and I think I would not regret it. THANKS FOR ALL THE THING ACADEMYHOUSE DOES!!!

Academy House is a warm and loving school that provides only the best for their students. As a former teacher there, I personally can share the beauty that was created in my classroom! We are aligned with the Pre School standards and teach the enriching curriculum that is High Scope. We focus on STEM studies, writing, math, language arts, and more. By the end of the school year, my parents are always proud to see how much their child has grown. It is important to remember that a lot of the times people leave a review, it is sadly due to a moment of anger. I wish more parents would take the time to discuss the positive impact we have had over the last several years. I recommend this school to anyone who wishes for their child to receive a great education.

There are many violations and hazards in this school who'm which I as an employee had addressed to management, but nothing get's resolved. Some classes are in need of repairs, and are not suitable for children to be in. As for the staff, very young and inexperienced. It seems like management put's more interest on money paid by the parents instead of investing on an adequate environment for the children. There's even holes on the walls in some classrooms, bathrooms and play areas. Also an infestation of mice and roaches that appear on the toy areas. I've personally seen it. Some classrooms are in violation of being overcrowded with children, and when the city inspectors come in the children are immediately separated into different classrooms until the inspectors leave. I've even seen some children being escorted out of the Day Care. Makes me wonder if this establishment is really for the development of the children attending or for personal benefit of the manager/owner.
