Jekyll Oceanfront Resort

If you want a place where you can go and relax.....then I would suggest the Jekyll Oceanfront. We had an Oceanfront room and to be honest with you, I didn't want to leave. The food in the restaurant was great, the tiki bar wonderful, the pool, supercool, our room was wonderful. But mostly I would like to say that they have the friendliest staff around.

This was the most miserable stay I have ever experienced at any motel on Jekyll Island. My son in law and Daughter booked the room for us in advance securing it with their credit card and we were to be in a second floor room with a great ocean view. The RUDE Staff stuck us with a bottom floor room '#150"and for two straight nights we could not sleep due to the constant walking in the room above ours. The sliding glass doors were so old we could hardley open or close the door and lock it... the carpet was filthy...and to top it off we had to park by the trash dumpster. After all this distress we had to pay $418.16 for"2 nights" for the Motel from Hell. I feel we should be compensated for this horrible experience . This rate was highly unreasonable due to the circumstances we encountered at JEKYLL OCEANFRONT RESORT AND SPA. If I am not AT LEAST partially compensated I will continue to publisize through the media our EXPERIENCE at JEKYLL OCEANFRONT RESORT AND SPA... DISGUSTED GUEST

Had the opportunity to stay here and had a wonderful time. The employees are very friendly. Nothing but the best in Southern Hospitality. We will definitly go back again.
