Overall

I just wanted to drop a note to let you and Jack know how pleased I am with

the engine. Your service was great and you performed as promised. The

engine has been installed and purrs like a kitten. Anyway, I thought you

may appreciate a positive note as normally you would not hear back from a

customer except for a complaint. Thanks again

I wanted to let you know that my engine change is successful.



We received engine on 10/22/13, and swapped it into my 2005 Kia Sedona

on 10/27/13.



We replaced the timing belt, plugs, hoses/clamps, water pump,

thermostats/gasket, belts, new radiator, Oil and filter, all with new

parts, as we wanted to insure no future problems.



I changed the oil/filter again after first 500 miles.



I have driven in and out of town over the holidays and I feel very

confident in this engine, it has the power



expected, the fuel mileage is better, and I believe this engine will

last long like my original one did.



Thanks again to you and Sharper Edge Engines for delivering a good

Quality engine as you promised.

I've ordered Mercedes engine and transmission combo. I already smelled oil burning odor when they were unloaded. More stronger odor when I opened the valve cover. I've found 1/2" to 1" of oil in 5 out of 6 spark plug tubes and mod to heavy sledge in #4 spark plug tube. I've also noticed broken metal tab at front coil bracket, 99% clogged up EGR tube at intake (told 80,000 miles), and one no bolt head at the harmonic balancer w/ threaded portion remains inside the h. balancer, etc. I opened the claim in July and closed it since I thought the issue was resolved and I was requested by David (sales). But, I opened a claim w/ BBB on 10/28 since the engine was not picked up the day supposed to be (10/22). No communication whatsoever even though I sent x2 emails requesting the reasons why there was no pick up. When it comes to communication w/ David is very poor. He rarely replied and it will take a few days for him to respond if he decides to respond. It took me a few emails to get the VIN and arrange pick up. I've already sent him 41 emails to resolve this issue. I'm wondering if David knows what I need from him. All I need is this engine exchanged w/ more decent engine that David promised me to send (was on 10/22).

I purchased a used engine from this company.

I received a defect engine below minimum usable expectations with broken valve,Piston Ring Faults. The Engine also uses an excessive amount of Motor Oil. Also mileage on my engine is much higher as they said. My car will not pass inspection, Engine Warning Lights are permanently on. I sent a complaine to BBB, and business owner Yalda Koohi responded with letter full of lye and accusations. She sent me a refund as soon BBB started investigation.

Business owner Yalda Koohy posted review on Jabber.com.: 4/8/2010 pretended she is a happy customer: The best website I have ever seen for used engines.. Remanufactured engines. I found my used Engine easily through Jack who is the most Honest person I have ever dealed with!!! (COPY)

After two complains from the real customers her reviews were removed. If she did this on one website, probably she did on an others.This place is scum.
