        Dr. Montefalco grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Illinois Benedictine College. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Magna Cum Laude distinction from Loyola University in 1989. He completed his four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois, Cook County, and Michael Reese Hospitals in Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry and Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Comprehensive Dentistry Department of St. Francis Hospital. His practice interests include implants, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, facial trauma, obstructive sleep apnea, facial cosmetic surgery and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Montefalco is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language for the Deaf. He and his wife, Amy, a practicing general dentist, have five children: Alexandria, Zane, Schuyler, Haven, and Bella.

        Dr Montefalco and his team were excellent. 2 implants and bone graph done and literally no pain or issues. Dr Montefalco even called me on a Sunday afternoon to check on me. Great service and caring

        Put at ease, clear explanation.

        Took the time to explain in detail everything that was going to occur. He follows up every visit with a personal phone call within two days of the procedure. Big bonus: flowers from the office sent to my home.

        I have a high level of confidence in Dr Montefalco

        He's empathetic, efficient and totally professional in his approach to the job. Getting a tooth extracted is a fairly violent thing to happen to oneself. However, Dr. Montefalco makes you feel like you're finally getting rid of a deadbeat, worthless relative you've lived with your whole life rather than your tooth.
