Botox
Botox is a U.S. FDA approved injectable treatment that temporarily reduces fine lines, crow’s feet and wrinkles between the brows. Botox is a purified protein made by Clostridium Botulinum Bacterium that reduces the activity of the muscles that cause facial lines to form. A typical treatment takes about 10-15 minutes with noticeable effects in just a few days. Treatment may last up to 4 months. Botox is effective on both men and women, creating a refreshed and youthful appearance.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery usually takes from one to three hours, under local or general anesthesia. The doctor makes incisions in the creases of the upper eyelids and/or below the lashes of the lower eyelids. The placement of the incision line is designed to minimize visible scarring. Once the incision is made, the doctor separates the skin from the fatty tissue and muscle, removes the excess fat and trims the drooping skin/muscle. In instances where there is no drooping skin to be removed, the doctor may make an incision line just below the lower lash to remove the excess fat.
Liposuction
As one of the most popular cosmetic and surgical procedures, liposuction sculpts the body by removing undesired fat from areas that include the thighs, buttocks, waist, hips, abdomen, chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms. These undesired fat depoovereatingrm from over eating, lack of exercise or inherited family traits.
Breast Augmentation
The breast augmentation procedure can be performed within 1-2 hours, with two possible methods of insertions and positioning of the implant. The periareolar method involves inserting the implant through an incision made around the nipple area. With the inframammary method, the breast tissue and skin are lifted through an incision where the chest wall and lower part of the breast meet. An implant is then inserted either above or below the chest muscle.
Breast Reduction
The most preferred method of breast reduction surgery involves creating an anchor shaped incision around the nipple and areola then following the natural crease under the surface of your breast. Excessive glandular fat, tissue and skin are removed and the areola and nipple are reconstructed to a new position on the breasts. The incisions are then brought together in order to reshape the now reduced breasts. Sutures are also layered deeply within the breast tissue to create and support the newly shaped breasts. Sutures, skin adhesives and/or surgical tape will then be used to close the skin.
Breast Lift
A breast lift, also known as a mastopexy, is a surgical procedure used to raise and reshape drooping breasts through the removal of excess skin and the repositioning of the nipple and remaining tissue. A breast lift can restore the shape and firmness of the breasts and reduce the size of the areola. Breast implants can also be placed either above or beneath the chest muscle, in conjunction with a breast lift if the patient also desires an increase in volume and size.
