Spousal Support
In a divorce case, both parties are required to submit pre-trial documents to the court 10 – 20 days before the court date. These documents define how each party would like the issues (i.e. property division, assets, child and spousal support) to be handled by the court.
During her time at UCSD, she worked at the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women through an internship. She then attended UC Davis School of Law and participated in the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic through the University, and she was a finalist in the Sexual Orientation and the Law Moot Court competition. She was also an editor of the Journal of Juvenile Law and Public Policy.
