        Comprehensive Addiction Programs, also known as CAP, is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals, families and communities suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. Founded in 1972, the organization offers a range of residential treatment, education and support services. Formerly known as CAP Recovery Home, it administers a social model chemical dependency detoxification program. Comprehensive Addiction Programs also provides psychological and substance abuse evaluation solutions. It maintains an assessment center, as well as offers various aftercare services.
