Michael T. Joliat concentrates his practice on municipal law, employment and labor law, real estate, workers compensation, personal injury, auto negligence and employment litigation.
Eric T. McCormick concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury litigation and representing municipalities, both in litigation and as municipal counsel. He earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1989, with high honor, and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, cum laude, in 1993. Thereafter, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Duncan M. Beagle, Genesee County Circuit Court. In 1994, he joined Plunkett & Cooney where he worked in the Flint office until the formation of Joliat, Tosto, McCormick & Bade in February 2001.
Peter M. Bade’s practice is concentrated on civil litigation, including representation of individuals, corporations and municipalities. He has extensive experience litigating claims involving personal injury, municipal liability, civil rights and contract disputes. He also handles divorces and estate planning. He earned undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University in 1991 and graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1994. Thereafter, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert M. Ransom, Genesee County Circuit Court, and, in February of 1996, joined the law firm of Plunkett & Cooney. From October 1997 to February 2001, he served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Flint.
