Adoption
In 1996, Peter left active duty with the Marines and joined his brother-in-law, Larry Jelsing, in the private practice of law with what is today Jelsing, Tri, West & Andrus, PLLC. Since that time, Peter has enjoyed a broad range of experience in various areas of the law and has within the last fifteen years narrowed his practice to elder and adoption law. Peter is a past co-chair of the Grants Committee on the Elder Law Executive Committee for the Washington State Bar Association. He is a retired judge advocate in the Marine Reserves.

Peter’s practice centers on elder law and includes such areas as guardianships, probates, and estate planning. Additionally, Peter enjoys adoption law where he has had the privilege of assisting clients complete international, DSHS, private, agency, and step-parent adoptions.
Mark grew up in the Lake Stevens and Everett areas. He rowed with Lake Stevens Rowing Club in high school to a national championship. Mark received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington (BA Economics) in 2009, and is a lifetime Husky fan. In 2013, Mark graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law, in Spokane, WA. Mark has focused his practice in the fields of probate, estate planning, business formation and management, and contracts, and also engages in various real property matters.
Larry has over 35 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust and elder law. He also regularly works in the fields of business Law, corporations/LLC formation, contract and real estate law.
Bill has over 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer. His practice has always been primarily in personal injury and family law matters. He has conducted numerous mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals. Bill has obtained millions of dollars for his personal injury clients in cases involving vehicle accidents, wrongful deaths, and premises liability. Bill always gives a free consultation on injury cases and if there is no recovery of money damages for a client, then there is no attorney fee owed by the client.
Larry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington (BA Economics) and received his law degree from Gonzaga University where he graduated near the top of his class (Magna Cum Laude). Larry has been named a “Super Lawyer” in estate planning and probate, by the Washington Law and Politics Magazine.
Borrowers may always contact their lender or lender’s representative to negotiate within the first 30 days after receiving a Notice of Pre-Foreclosure Options. By responding to their lender’s contacts, the borrower is given a mandatory extra 60 days to negotiate with their lender or lender’s representative before the lender or lender’s representative can issue a notice of default.
