Private Sewer and Water is THE BEST. For many years it has provided us (100y/o+ house) with excellent work and perfect customer service. Has never failed! Thank You Ron!!

Ron and his crew were very prompt at 8 AM on a Saturday. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I'm a bit overbearing with my extensive questions, but Ron was able to quickly and easily explain everything I asked about. In the future, for any plumbing work I have, I'm calling them first. Thank you for everything!

They are very nice, clean, and up front about what they need to do and why. The pricing is not that bad since they will give you all the information and no sales pressure to do the job, and they can do it right then! No more waiting.

We called them to look into backup from a washing machine, resulting in standing water in basement and garage. We were very impressed with the responsiveness, quality of service, and pricing. A few things to point out:



- We called them at night and Ron consulted us through the problem and we all determined that it was not an emergency, could wait until the next day and didn't justify us paying overtime to fix immediately.



- They responded timely and confirmed the appointment the next day.



- Most important, they were very thorough in diagnosing the problem and getting rid of the excess water. They explained the problem in a way that we could make informed decisions.



- Finally, I thought their pricing was very affordable, fair, and accurately reflected the work performed by the onsite plumber.



I'm not saying that I'm hoping for plumbing issues in the future, but I would not hesitate to use Private Sewer and Water going forward and I strongly recommend them!

They know what they're doing! Ron is a great guy, they are not cheap but they did a great job. Will use again.

I find it super stressful to hire contractors, especially for a major repair, but these guys were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. When I needed to make a change to the repair schedule, they were more than accomodating.



Also, if you are having MAJOR plumbing done, such as underground pipe repair, this company is better equipped than most anyone else who quoted my job. Some of the plumbers who came out to our house wanted to destroy our porch and our entire yard. Ron was great to work with and the job was done in 2 days without MAJOR destruction!! Thanks Private Sewer!!

The job was done quickly and per contract. It was explained to me clearly what they would do and they did it. So that is great. We have other plumbing issues that we will be calling on you for help with. Thank you Ron!

You know how it feels when you have to spend alot of money on something that doesn't show? Well in this case it was worth every cent ! Ron Janis and his guys were fast, clean hard working, joked with us and at the end, came back and cleaned everything better than it was when they arrived. They sound like boy scouts don't they?

A sewage problem that had been going on for years unknown to us was dug up, repaired and with concrete sidewalk replaced in 2 days! Wow!

Anyway......awesome!

I don't write too many reviews but finding a good plumber you can use for life is impossible so I felt I should post this. I have gone through a half dozen and I'm happy to say I finally found the Company I can count on and use as long as I live in Chicago land! Recommended by a friend, I have used Private Sewer & Water on several occasions and all of the anxiety is out the window. I would trust these guys to do work when I'm not there, it is done right the first time, everything is explained to you, they are realistic about what can and can't be done, and their prices are competitive. I have gone the 'cheap' route several times and it does not work. I have the 'redo' bills and water damage to prove it. Stop reading, call them if you need some work done.
