Muffler Man

I have been getting my oil changed here on both my cars for years. I have never had an issues with the staff being rude. If anything they are always extremely nice. They take the time to explain things to me. They have affordable prices. PLUS they get the job done within a reasonable time. I highly recommend stopping in!

I went to muffler man while i was on vacation. Noticed some moisture behind my left drivers side tire. Walked in and the man didn't even smile at me, just looked at me like i was a piece of crap, when i tried to explain the problem he got beligerent and told me to have my cousin fix the damn problem, that he wasn't gonna do a job that i was gonna pay him to do,and that he wasn't interested in anything else that i had to say. You are supposed to treat your customers with respect and common courtesy, maybe someone should turn him in to the better business bureau, or put him on angie's list as the worst place to go. With the worst service. And as for the star rating, they dont deserve a damn thing from me now or ever. I will make sure to tell everyone i meet or know who lives in Elkhart not to go to him, and i hope he goes out of business.

I WAS AT YOUR ELKHART STORE WHEN 2 YOUNG MEN CAME IN AND THEY WE'RE USING TERRIBLE WORDS I DONT THINK I COULD EVER WORK THERE,YOUR MANAGER TOLD THEM TO STOP THERE WAS A LADY THERE AND THEY DIDNT THEY GOT WORSE THEY DID SCARE ME BUT THE MANAGER TOLD THEM TO LEAVE UNTIL THEY COULD ACT LIKE ADULTS,I TRULY WAS SCARED IF NOT FOR HIM I WOULD HAVE LEFT RIGHT AWAY,WHAT A STRESSFUL PLACE TO WORK 5MINUTES LATER SOMEONE WHO SMELLED LIKE ALCHOL STUMBLED IN AND COULD HARDLY TALK WANTING HIS DENTS FIXED WHEN TOLD THEY DONT DO THAT KIND OF WORK AGAIN A ANGRY MAN I DONT NO HOW THEY KEEP THEIR COOL THERE IT WAS CRAZY AND I WAS ONLY THERE ABOUT 20MINUTES,KUDOS TO THE MEN WORKING THERE.

I've called muffler man several times this year for an oil change, each and every time I talk to the owner/manager of the business. It was the most horrible customer service ever. He was rude, cruel, and had a smart comment each and every time I called. I would not suggest that they get business from anyone, unless you like getting treated unhuman.

I have never been treated so badly or rudely at a place of business as I was today at Muffler Man. I walked in, asked the man if he would just change my oil filter, not the oil. He said "Get out of here, no..no..get out of here. That's stupid and doesn't even make sense." and walked me off!!! I stood there dumbfounded a while, then I left.



What he didn't know, and didn't give me a chance to tell him, is that I am treating my engine right now and just a filter change is exactly what I needed. I knew what I was doing and asking for, I live in an apartment right now and don't have the space/tools to change it myself.



What he also didn't know, and didn't give me the chance to tell him, is that I would have paid the full basic oil change price if he had to charge me that.



Don't waste your time on this place, there are plenty of far more professional businesses out there that would be happy to help you with your oil change or exhaust needs.



I would not darken the door of this place again if it were the last shop on earth.
