Custom Elevators of GA

I entered into a contractual agreement with Copeland Johnson of Custom Elevators of Georgia in Dec 2017, which required an $8100 deposit, paid by check, and should have resulted in the installation of a residential elevator.

Copeland spent our deposit, failed to deliver, failed to return our full refund, negatively impacted (financially and logistically) our construction and move-in deadlines, and cost us an additional $7000 to rush an unplanned elevator installation for my 86yo father who was at risk going up and down two flights of stairs.

Come to find out .. Custom Elevators of Georgia was Administratively Dissoved in Sept 2018 (which he failed to tell us, yet still promotes via his VM, website, etc.), and there are multiple similar complaints about Copeland and his LLC from others on Georgia’s Better Business Bureau’s site. This man and his company have a track record of Theft by Deception.
