Founded in 1932, the company is an employee-owned firm that provides construction management and design services for commercial, manufacturing, industrial and institutional properties. With a bonding capacity of more than $650 million, it offers expertise in developing health care facilities for emergency and psychiatric departments. The company also provides critical care, central sterile supply, research and outpatient services. Messer Construction also builds classrooms, athletic facilities, parking garages, performing arts centers and dormitories. It has completed projects for Fidelity Investments, Newport Aquarium, The Greene, Argosy Hotel and Casino and Kentucky Transportation. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Messer Construction maintains one of its locations in Columbus, Ohio.
