Waay too expensive for what you get and the owner is rude!! My husband works very hard everyday and because he was dressed as he just got off work, the owner actually turned him away!! Because he was judged as a "thug" and turned away; he graciously came home showered and changed, then took his family to another restaurant spending over $150 the same night. Everyone that isn't "well to do" in your eyes isn't broke and could maybe spend money at your "restaurant", sir; just saying!! Imean there are never customers when i do decide to to come in... and the only reason I do is because I can't get my fish anywhere else on the south side.....oh, wait....there's Sharks now. Oh well!! cya

OK, Starting out I want to say the menu is very misleading. I got the whiting lunch special with a house salad. The menu stated that the whiting lunch special came with extra pickles and extra onions. It came with 1 slice of onion and 1 slice of pickle. Also when I asked for more the owner stated that it was an extra charge for more. So, I paid it because that's how I want my fish. However, the big disappointment came with the house salad. The menu stated that it was a fresh cut salad with vegetables, croutons, and chopped eggs. Also, that the salad dressing was homemade ranch, Italian, or blue cheese. I wanted blue cheese. The man who took my order asked me if it would be ok if I got ranch because he wasn't sure if he had any more blue cheese left and need to make some. I told him I would take Italian. Imagine my surprise when I look through the window and see the cook pouring dressing out of a store bought bottle. Then when I get the salad that came out five minutes after I get my fish special, all that it consists of is lettuce and tomatoes on top. When I inquired about my lack of croutons, eggs, vegetables, and homemade dressing per the menu I was told you only get all those toppings with the other salads they have, ie. oyster salad.



In all fairness the fish was ok. But, due to the fact that the menu is full of errors which no one corrects unless you ask after you receive your food and they are unwilling to correct the mistakes I will NEVER go back. I'd rather go to Rosehill seafood. At least what I order of the menu is what I get. There is no confusion.
