General Info: Thomas W. Schultz, DO, is a cardiologist at Prisma Health Cardiology in Columbia, South Carolina, and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in general cardiology at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital in Hartford. Dr. Schultz is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine and interventional cardiology, and is currently reading vascular studies. He is skilled in adult transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, percutaneous coronary intervention, permanent pacemaker implantation and peripheral diagnostics.
