Wonderful, knowledgeable staff! This was my first time in a position to visit a 'cash for gold' type place with some of my great grandmother's silver flatware. I didn't understand the difference between SPOT silver and my 1890s solid sterling silver flatware. I also had done me weighing at home in ounces and not grams.
I went back later after I had done the conversions at home and still felt confused at the price I was given. Sam was really kind to come out and educate me on the difference that Sterling/925 silver price was the "scrap jewelry 925" price and the "SILVER SPOT/1 OZ." price. I felt so badly, but I really didn't understand that I was getting the price for scrap silver jewelry 925. Sam and Cory were very kind to me as 'one of those annoying' customers! I left feeling very confident that this is a hardworking, honest and very knowledgeable about their craft. I will definitely return and encourage others to do business with Sam's Coins.
