Principle Moving

We called and set up movers to be at our house at 2 pm on a Sunday. We were given a price for 2 hours and 2 movers. They also said they would call an hour prior to coming and when they close. We called at 115pm no answer any times. 2pm came and went and we did call and eventually after calling 15 + times someone answered and said 45 minutes and this was around 240pm well 45 mins came and went and we called again and they said 45 mins. 45 mins came and went. Then they told us 10 minutes and after waiting 20 mins we called and they said 10 mins and at that point we had a 17 foot uhaul loaded ourselves. We had already reserved and picked up the truck and set up paid security to be there at 2pm for 2 hours so we knew we only had a small amount of time to get the move done. Then the owner had the nerve to call and argue with us about the time. I can't believe the terrible customer service of the owner after they never showed up! Terrible!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! Do not use them if you need someone to show up on time! So rude and even worse to not show up then call and argue with us. Maybe the owner needs to hire more employees? I'm sure he could find extra help easily in Charlotte nc.

PLEASE dont use this company! If you dont care about your stuff being broken, damaged, scratched, chipped, shattered, and beaten... then use Principle Moving. And if you dont care that claims go unread and ignored, use Principle Moving. Unethical and unprofessional...

Principle Moving makes moving so easy. They are fast and courteous every time. This is my third move with them and I probably will never use anyone else. I called around and got some quotes and spoke to other numerous companies but none of them could even compare to their prices.

We've used Principle Moving four times, now and because of those experiences, and being treated so well, I will continue to use them for everything!



Initially, I used them to move us from one house to another house. Russ came out to look over our things and gave us a reasonable flat rate. The price was much better than other estimates I'd gotten so I decided to use them. The guys were very friendly and ready to work. Unfortunately, I hadn't correctly measured the doorways upstairs at the new house. After they had moved all of the furniture up there, we discovered that they couldn't get it through the doors so they had to move everything back downstairs again! They didn't complain at all. It was completely my fault, I had measured incorrectly and hadn't thought it through, but they were so patient with me, I never felt uncomfortable.



We've used them on several occasions since, and they are always good-matured and pleasant to be around. One time we were using them, and it was taking a lot longer than we had thought it would, and it was 8 pm on a Friday, and these are young guys, who probably have plans after work, but they were so great and helped us to reshuffle our furniture. And we had a company put in a chair lift for my in-laws, only it was too high and therefore too dangerous for them to use. Well, the guys helped us fix it! I couldn't believe it, I'm always going to use them! They are always very courteous, friendly and responsible. I would highly, highly recommend them to anybody!

Unfortunately, I don't have our movers' names but the two boys that moved my daughter in were fantastic! They called ahead to confirm everything, showed up on time, moved everything quickly and professionally. My daughter's room was on the 4th floor and she has a huge shelf that wouldn't fit on the elevator but they moved it up without a complaint. After getting the shelf upstairs and my daughter's furniture arranged time they came back down for a load. By that time, there was a line for the elevator so they carried that load all the rest of the loads that followed up the stairs all the way to the fourth floor . Then my daughter decided her room was not arranged the way she wanted so they happily rearranged her furniture for her. It was a terribly hot day and they had already moved a couple of other people before my daughter but they remained professional and pleasant. I will definitely use their service again and would recommend them to friends. It's rare today to get such top notch service.

Had a great experience working with Tim to set up the move and working with his team during the move. Tim was very responsive by e-mail and phone and he made sure that we were well informed with pricing and what was expected with the move. The movers arrived right on time and were extremely pleasant to work with; they handled huge, bulky loads without issue. I would definitely contact Principle Moving in the future.

This was the most horrible customer service experience of my life. They were 5-1/2 hours late for my move and never called. I had to call them continuously and were always told they would be there soon. I asked for a discount and the owner would only offer me $32.50. I offered 2/3 of the bill and when they refused, they actually CALLED THE POLICE TO MY HOME! Yes, believe it or not, they called the police. I still can't believe this happened. These people could care less about their customers. If everything goes perfect, you might be ok but if not..BUYER BEWARE.

My husband & I have moved 3 times in the last 4 years & used these guys 3 times. Friendly, professional, CAREFUL & fast!!! Wouldn't use any other company, great work for a great price! Would highly recommend them!
