KJ's Quality Consignment

The owner appears to be in the business out of economic necessity - not for any desire to please customers. She makes it a real chore for sellers to get their money... As another reviewer pointed out, she seemed so desperate for the money that I actually felt guilty chasing her down for the rest of the $ I was owed, and once the year was up, that's it -- you're written off and no chance of ever receiving what you're OWED! I now steer clear of that place... Very surprised she's still in business!

Only keeps you on file for a year. She would not pay me for a swing I had her sell last year. She was rude and items in her store are way over priced. Often more than the item new at babies r us. Don't bother with this place.

Prices are way too high. Also they sell recalled children's items, such as a whole shelf of bumbo chairs with no straps. They also had a carseat in the store. It's very unsafe to sell a carseat second hand.

The prices are too high--- also, I bought a pair of boy's pants not realizing the elastic was all worn out making the pants unusable. I called the shop and was basically told "too bad". I kept giving this shop the benefit of the doubt but in the end I cannot recommend KJ's to anyone.

I stopped in last week to purchase a stroller, I found a lovely stroller and purchased it for $85.00. I thought not a bad price it looked decent. The next day I went onto babies r us to see what a bargain I got, to my surprise the stroller retails for $79.00, are you kidding i paid more for a used stroller. I called the shop and was told by the daughter of the owner it was at that price because on shopzilla it sells for $133.00 which it did and it also sells for $79.00 on shopzilla depending on which shop you were to purcase it as high end store or babies r us. They would only give me a $10.00 refund and would not take the stroller back because I paid with a credit card. I explained to her people shop at consignment shops to get a discounted prices on used items not to get ripped off. She said there was nothing she could do. I will not be picking up the $10.00 because i am pretty sure she needs the money more than i do if she has to go so far as to up the price on her used goods. Needless to say I will never be shopping there again.
