Brunswick Parks & Recreation Department, located in Brunswick, Maine, offers facilities and programs for leisure time activities to residents of the area. The facilities and programs include the Androscoggin River Bicycle and Pedestrian Path, Basketball Tournaments Mid-Winter Classic, and Brunswick Youth Soccer League. The pedestrian path is used for walking, jogging, bicycling, and roller-blading. The path is maintained year-round and is open to the public free of charge. The department also maintains the Coffin Pond, located in a white pine forest. The area features a beach, Red Cross certified lifeguards and swim lessons, water slide, playground area, picnic sites with grills and tables, restrooms with changing facilities and concession area.
