        Cheng (Charles) Zhang, MD, graduated from Henan Medical University in China, where he also completed an ophthalmology residency. He was then awarded a WHO (World Health Organization) fellowship and spent 2 years as ocular pathology fellow at University of Illinois at Chicago. He also finished two years of clinical fellowship of pediatric ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He joined the Montefiore in 2010.
