The review on 6-20-11 seems like a bogus review, especially when this same person goes to a (Norwood, MA) competitor's ad on Yellow Pages here, and lauds them to extremes. Just doesn't look legit to me, but that's up to you that read these reviews.
not good quality safes, for high prices
I had to have my safe opened, I had misplaced the combination. I called around to several locksmiths and found the staff at Boston Lock the most helpful, and they were by far the lowest priced. I have to say several of the other "locksmiths" told me that they would have to "cut" it open. When pressed to explain, they said that they would cut into my safe and force the door open. That was not what I was expecting to hear from someone in that field. I don't think they really had a clue about how to open a safe, I think they just wanted my money.
When I called Boston Lock, they asked many questions about my safe, and then told me they could open it using fiber optics, and would do no harm to the safe. That afternoon, they send a very nice guy to my home, and with in 30 minutes he had opened my safe. Very clean and quick service. He even set the combination to numbers that I could remember.
THIS IS A FIRST CLASS COMPANY, AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS.
I looked up their web site, and it states they have been in business sense 1790 ! I can understand how they have lasted so long. Give them a call and find out for yourself.
