In November 2018, Emanuel Sloboda was on preconviction bail for pending Maine criminal offenses. Harry Center of Woodman Edmands Danylik Austin Smith & Jacques, P.A. in Biddeford, represented Sloboda. According to Center, Sloboda had previously been charged with burglary after a dispute about his dog. The bail bond had a condition that he have no direct or indirect contact with a particular individual.

In June 2004, Harry accepted a position as a Senior Trial Attorney with OneBeacon Insurance Company. While at OneBeacon Harry exclusively worked as insurance defense counsel, defending OneBeacon insured in all 16 Maine Counties as well as Federal Court. When OneBeacon closed its staff counsel office in Maine in December 2007, Harry joined the firm on January 1, 2008. Harry has developed an extensive personal injury practice utilizing his experience as insurance defense counsel. Harry has established a broad referral base from other attorneys representing injured parties across the State. He has obtained numerous six figure civil jury verdicts for clients.
Medical Malpractice
Keith built a diverse practice, and has been a highly respected civil trial lawyer for more than 35 years. In recent months Woodman Edmands has added several new attorneys, and Center said the firm expects to recruit more. Well-known real estate attorney Rick Hull merged his practice with the firm. Also, attorneys Jayden Walton and Kaleigh Gorman joined the firm. Prior to joining Woodman Edmands, Jeff developed a broad civil law practice during more than 20 years as a sole practitioner in Kennebunk, Maine, and as owner and manager of Kennebunk Title Company. He has significant experience advising and representing individuals, families and businesses in a variety of complex legal matters, with a focus on real estate, business, estate planning (wills and trusts) and probate of estates. He handles all aspects of real estate law and practice, representing buyers, sellers and lenders in residential and commercial titles and closings, as well as assisting investors and developers. His practice also includes litigation of real estate disputes such as boundary and right-of-way disputes, zoning appeals, and landlord/tenant matters. Jeff has an active business and corporate practice, and particularly enjoys assisting entrepreneurs and business clients to organize, start up and grow their businesses in Maine and beyond.
Trusts
Robert B. Woodman has forty-eight years of experience as an attorney engaged in providing advice, solving problems, completing transactions and administering trusts and estates for Maine, out-of-state and international clients. His early career involved real estate and civil litigation matters, followed by commercial and real estate development, together with zoning and land use.
He currently serves on Arundel’s Board of Selectmen, an office he has held since 1992. Tom is also a former director for the York County Community Action Corporation. He has otherwise been actively involved in the community as a coach for youth and high school basketball and baseball. Tom practices in a variety of litigation areas including personal injury, construction disputes, real estate conflicts, will contests, divorce, foreclosures, evictions and employment matters. He is listed on the roster of Arbitrators for the Maine Superior Court and has served as a mediator in various areas within the scope of his practice, successfully settling over 200 cases. Tom is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.
