Riptide by the Bay

I went into this tavern because the thames oyster house is closed. We ordered the Nachos, local oysters and crab cakes. They are amazing!! The nachos is spicy and very yum, the oyster is so fresh and great, no mention to the famous crab cakes(I love the side salads with the crab cakes). I'm glad that I chose this place!

Went here this past Saturday night with a group of friends and had a great time! Roger Ripple and crew are doing a great job! The atmosphere was wonderful (we sat in the "alley" breezeway) and very comfortable. My drink is the Malibu Bay Breeze and I try it everywhere I go - this by far was the best one I'd ever had! The Crab Dip was delicious, however a more generous portion would've been nice. There was enough for 1 or 2 people, but that was it. The Scallops in rum and pineapple were absolutely delicious! I'm still craving them and determined to figure out how to make them at home! The Crab Bisque wasn't the best or worst that I've ever had. It definitely could've used more crab meat and for such a big bowl, oyster crackers or some kind of saltines would've been nice. The Margaritas were made tableside and my husband fell in love w/ them. Overall this is a great place for a night out and we will definitely be back!

This is the best crab house with the most improved service, awesome childs menu (mini-mariners) and bar in Fells Point. A must come and money spender.
