Part sadly of home ownership is of course fixing and replacing components of your home that age and need replacement. We recently noticed holes in the back siding of our house. HCR stepped in, within three weeks we had an estimate and as of today we have a replaced back wall of siding.

The crew was fast, and cleaned up the entire area. You can't even tell that they were there, except the back siding isn't damaged anymore.

I don't know why these guys are hard to find on Yelp as they should be up there for window replacements. Recently just hired them to replace 13 of our windows in our town home. The crew that came in to the job were very professional, courteous, and efficient. Despite the frigid temperatures outside they were able to knock out the job in a full days work. I was impressed. They respected my home and took care not to damage the walls and floors as they moved about with ladders and the new windows. They placed brown canvases on the floor so not to muddy up the carpets. I have to say that new windows do make a big difference. It is noticeable quieter in the home and the draft from the old windows are gone. I do not know yet how much this will shave off the gas and electric bill but will post again to see if energy windows do make a difference. I digress. The aluminum wrap around the outside of the windows is well done. I did notice a small dent but you have to examine it very closely. The crew did a great job to not damage the bushes around the home which is usually a problem with other home repairers. Overall, HCR did a great job with the whole process from start to end. Even the sales pitch was short and to the point which is what I asked for. I usually love the negotiation game but this time it was just needed. My only regret is not remembering the names of the team that worked hard on my windows.

I would highly recommend these guys for windows, will hire them soon to do gutters and will write a review on that as well.

I had a very satisfying experience, i can not complaine. I was a model home and i am very proud fo the work they have done. i would invite anyone to comy by and look at the beautiful siding, shutters and roofing they did on my home. Many of my nieghbors have commented on how much my hosue has changed and i believe a few of them are working wiht homefix as well. I can not speak to anyone else but my representative was very trustworthy and seemed to genuinely care, he was a little strong in the sale but i am very pleased with the outcome and i know i got what i paid for. Please come by and see their work and a truely happy customer, I also saw my house on their facebook page and it looked great.

The process from sitting down with a well qualified sales manager to financing, and finally installation was very pleasant process. Everyone treated us with care and understanding, and made this feel like it was money well spent.

I highly recommend HomeFix Custom Remodeling. This is the second time I have used their products and services and have been extremely pleased by the price, quality, and professionalism of all people I have had the pleasure to work with.

This time I was in the market to replace my original metal siding from 1984 on my end unit townhome with vinyl insulated siding and replace the soffit that was totally falling apart. My electric bills were getting higher and higher and the interior temperatures were cold in the winter and hot in the summer, even with a new heating and air conditioning unit, plus energy efficient new windows that had been installed by HomeFix over 10 years ago. I got several estimates, all were higher and most pushy companies wanted me to sign TODAY in order to receive the "lower" price. Not so with HomeFix. My representative, Justin, came out with beautiful samples, and we talked about what I wanted and needed, even took the sample colors outside to see them in natural light to make a better decision, and came up with a price that was more reasonable than the rest and products that were of exceptional quality. I was able to think about it without pressure and decide if this was the right decision for me at this time and the pricing did not change because I wanted to take some time to review all options. Financing was also available to me.

Once I made my decision, we set a date for installation and again HomeFix was able to work with my schedule. It would take two days. The supervisors arrived a bit earlier than the starting time and introduced themselves, the workers also arrived on time, and work began. The removal was done and all discarded materials were taken away and my yard and surrounding area cleaned up. The workers worked efficiently and were always kind and friendly to me. The next day the project was finished, and it was such an amazing difference! I also bought new outside light fixtures and house numbers to update the old ones that they installed for me and it truly looks like a brand new townhouse! I did end up putting the house numbers where they were previously, above the porch awning, and realized afterwards that these numbers should have been just above the door, where the porch light is, so that they can be seen. I contacted HomeFix and I was happy to be told that they would come out and fix this for me (even thought it was a mis-judgment on my part). I was contacted by very nice man, Gary, who had his team come out and make this change and I am just so pleased! My house numbers can be seen!

I believe that the best feature yet is my electric bills. I had this work done in June and the comfort of the home was immediately noticeable. The rest of the summer my bills were remarkably lower than they have ever been. By September, I received the LOWEST electric bill I have ever had since living in that house for over 18 years! And now that it's winter and the temperatures are cold, I find that I'm not freezing upstairs and I can have my thermostat set at a lower temperature and still remain comfortable and my electric bill is half the cost that it was last year. I know this is a result of the installation of this wonderful insulated siding.

These people are excellent. I purchased insulation at the end of December.. My attic had insufficient insulation and was below current code. And it was cold. I could
feel the draft in my closet - and my heating bills! The salesperson - Nick - selected the right type of insulation for my project. On install day there was meticulous attention to detail: caulking cracks and all preparations needed for a seamless installation -including drop cloths everywhere). They cleaned everything. The price was the best.
They were polite, professional and prompt. I will use them for my windows and roof.

I do not understand all the bad reviews. I had nothing but excellent service from this company. My brother had windows installed in his home and I was there during the estimate and installation. Fantastic job and was beautiful. In April 2017 I had my roof replace. I chose this company because of the excellent service and the end result. For my roof the roofers were on time, did a excellent job, cleaned up better than I would have. I am 100 % satisfied and would use them again and I recommend them. I do not usually recommend companies to anyone unless they are outstanding. HCR is outstanding.

We had our roof replaced with Homefix and the quality of work was excellent. Workers were very courteous and on time and did an excellent job with clean up. We encountered some unexpected conditions with the sheathing and Homefix was very reasonable negotiating in the middle of the job.

My experience with Homefix Custom Remodeling has been stellar. There were some hiccups at the beginning with my quote - but Ryan Hardy worked exceptionally hard to make sure that HCR lived up to their reputation! I can only work on small jobs at a time in my house, so the fact they were willing to take on my small project of a sliding glass door and small below grade window was a relief. They gave me the best quote of many quotes that I had gotten on the project and their product has a great warranty.
