        Ronald Shin, DO, is a doctor specializing in rehabilitation and pain management at CHOICE Pain & Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Shin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology with a focus in Exercise Physiology at the University of California in Berkeley before traveling to Harlem, New York, to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a preliminary internal medicine internship at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. To round out his medical education, Dr. Shin completed an acupuncture integrative medicine program at Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City and a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency from Rusk Rehabilitation at New York University Langone Medical Center. Finally, Dr. Shin completed an interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Dr. Shin maintains active memberships with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association of Academic Physiatrists, Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, American Society of Interventional Pain, and Physicians Eastern Pain Association. When he’s not treating patients at CHOICE Pain & Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Shin lives an active lifestyle. He is a 1st degree Judo black belt, enjoys water sports including scuba diving, swimming, water polo, and diving; and participates in outdoor sports such as snowboarding, biking, rock climbing, hiking, and camping.

        My encounter with Dr. Shin was beyond amazing. He did my injection with such ease. He knew I was afraid and did everything to ease my fears.He talked me through the entire procedure. He was so patient with me. I've had the injection done by another pain Dr and it was so painful. When Dr. Shin did the injection I felt no pain at all. I put my complete trust in him
