It’s been a couple of years since I been to a salon and I’m not from Maryland and never had my hair done here since I moved here so I was terrified. I searched online for a African American Beautician and was able to book an appointment online the very same day at 6pm might I add. Shonte gave me a warm friendly greeting upon me entering. The shop was nice, very clean and cozy. I might add she also practices CDC rules for social distancing.👍🏽 She followed protocol and was also wearing a mask!
She was very professional and knowledgeable about my Hair concerns. I never style my hair, I keep it corn rowed under a wig 100% of the time and I’m all natural so I have No wave pattern. She knew exactly what to do and Shonte performed CPR on my hair. She gave me so many pointers on how to care for my hair before bed, when I get up in the morning, the do’s, the dont’s and how to make it last until my next appointment. Rest assured I will return because this was my very first time I received good certified education while receiving hair care. She is a model Beautician!! If there were more beauticians like her I believe people would have much healthier hair. Shonte is a very personable beautician and that goes a long way with me because I look for input on what works for my hair not one size fits all hair care. She doesn’t rush her craft and she definitely gets down to business where your hair care is concerned. The client she was working on when I arrived left looking like a million bucks and everything Shonte did to her hair was on point. 👍🏽

Just like that old classic Song By Stevie Wonder says Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m yours. Shonte has gained a new client in me. Shonte knows natural hair care and does a magnificent job at the same time. My hair was swaying with every turn and bouncing like a ball when I left!! Shonte Rocks and I love my color!! Shonte is not only a great hair stylist, she is a hair care professional. She has been doing my hair for over 7 years and I am still impressed with her work. A Touch of Te' is a very fast growing business . I have been going to Shonte since I was 13 . She is very persistent and reliable.she know exactly what the customer wants. A Touch of Te' is a wonderful shop operated by a fabulous young lady who is an absolute expert at hair care. Her talent for hair just doesn't stop at being a stylist, she has a gift for bringing your hair back to life as well as transitioning it to be strong and the healthiest it's ever been. The atmosphere of her shop is comfortable and welcoming. I've been going to Shonte' for nearly 3 months and in that time frame she's won my heart! Her service etiquette is beyond expectation. Whatever your hair needs, she will do. My hair was thick, breaking and on the edge of unhealthiness. After a few appointments, I consulted Shonte about going natural and she bombarded me with information to aid me in my decision to persue it. I am soooo glad I did! My hair has grown trmendously, it's vibrant and manageable beyond my belief. I can walk out of her salon looking like I have a perm, I am a living witness she's a miracle worker! I initially started with simple hairdos which I was pleased, then tried some updos which I was pleased and now I've ventures out to a sew-in weave for the summer..again I am pleased. There's nothing this lady cannot do. If you have little hair or lots of it, she's the best. Trust me you'll be back again and again! I have gone to Shonte for two years now and my hair has grown down my back. She is absolutely gifted at styling hair. I have had all kinds of problems with my hair in the past, from breakage to my hair falling out. Now it's longer and healthier and so much easier to manage. I watch Shonte do all kinds of hairstyles; long short, it doesn't matter. Everyone looks good when they leave. I'm so glad I found her.

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of finding Shonte to do my hair. She was one of the first stylists that promoted healthy hair growth, and took her time; however, I didn't fully appreciate and value her talent given different obstacles I was trying to overcome in life. Throughout the ups and downs I faced, I realized it would be best to re-write my wrongs and leave Shonte a much better and positive review compared to the one I left in the past:



Ladies, please don't hesitate to see Shonte. It took me to go to other stylists who left my hair damaged and uncontrollable before I realized Shonte is the best and would not put your hair at jeopardy. The different techniques that she uses allowed my hair to grow and be healthy.
