Hyatt Regency

This hotel has a great location on lady bird lake and close to everything. I checked in early and they were very accomodating. However the room was not that great on the third floor. I requested a room change to a higher floor and they upgraded me without charge as I was staying for 6 days. That was great! The room on the 15 th floor had incredible views of the skyline and lake. I could also see congress street bridge where the nightly bat watch is in full effect. The people were very nice however, the hotel could use some upkeep...some dirty sidewalks in front and back deck was not kept clean and inviting. (that is why only three stars..they should have a four) I am sure when it first opened it was pretty great but the wear and tear is showing now. Food was really good though. I would stay again, just would make sure I had the same room or better.
