This is one of my FAVORITE BBQ PLACES IN ATLANTA. The only reason why I'm knocking down a star is because the WAIT is ridiculous sometimes and very limited parking, but the FOOD IS FIVE STARS. I'm all about this life from the meat (rubs, brisket - lawd have mercy), to the sides (mac n cheese, brunswick stew), to the sauces....you can't go wrong. You must go here and you won't be disappointed.
Fox Brothers is by far my favorite BBQ joint in Atlanta. I always say if you can't smell the BBQ before you walk in its not real BBQ. You can literally smell the grill as you're passing the restaurant! I highly recommend the frito pie and the baked beans and pulled pork are a must. The white BBQ sauce should be used on the chicken and the banana pudding is the best option for dessert. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare so be prepared for that.
Great barbecue -- ribs, pork, and lots of appetizer choices. Has a cult following in Atlanta. Don't let the out of the way location and rundown appearance fool you... oh, wait, it's a barbecue joint, it's supposed to look like that!
Great food and great service. Well worth the wait. Texas fries are my fav appetizer & their ribs are brisket are bar none the best in Atlanta.
Beat pulled pork in the city! Deliciously smoked with a yummy dry rub. The make our BBQ & Blues event a success every year!
Excellent BBQ, ribs, and fried okra! Baked beans are a bit sweet for me. The smoked turkey with white sauce is magical and only available on a Sundays. The wait can be longer than an hour on Sundays or during great patio weather.
Amazing BBQ with smoke out the stack and a line out the door. Take advantage of dedicated take out window. Fried pickle are life changing!
My family loves this barbecue!! In the winter we crave the brunswick stew. We usually get the rib sandwich with a side salad or fries. You get four ribs which is plenty. Their fries are freshly cut and fried - some of the best in ATL.
We enjoy the food and fun atmosphere at Fox Bros, but the parking situation keeps us from going there often! Usually we park on the adjacent side street, but sometimes that can mean a 4-5 block walk. When the weather is good, no big deal. But when it is hot or cold or wet (80% of the time in the ATL it is one of these three) then we won't be heading to Inman Park for BBQ.

- Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q opened their Dekalb Avenue restaurant in August 2007. With a loyal following already built up, the restaurant thrived in the Candler Park neighborhood. In August 2012, disaster struck when a 100-year-old tree fell on top of the restaurant's two main dining rooms. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Jonathan and Justin were overwhelmed by the support from community and it was with that help, they were able to clean up, and reopen in less than 48 hours. With that same determination, the Fox brothers set to embark on a second round of construction to improve the restaurant. The renovations brought more bar and upgraded patio space, and restored the indoor seating capacity they once had.
