- The long road to becoming an orthodontist started with Dr. Patel accepting a full scholarship to the University of Georgia, where he became a die-hard Bulldog fan. After receiving a bachelors degree in microbiology with highest honors, he attended the Medical College of Georgia College of Dental Medicine to start his path to becoming an orthodontist. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, also with highest honors, while also receiving multiple recognitions for his academic excellence and dental skills. To become an orthodontic specialist, Dr. Patel continued his education at the College of Dental Medicine to receive his certification in orthodontics. While most orthodontics finish there, Dr. Patel wanted to build his skills as a board-certified orthodontist. This required extensive testing along with the presentation of high-quality finished cases. Only 33% of orthodontists are board-certified, and Dr. Patel is proud to be one of them.Dr. Patels dream has always been to open his own private practice and treat patients how they deserve to be treated with compassion, integrity, and a high degree of quality. Soon after graduating, he decided to build his practice in Sandy Springs, GA. He intends to continue practicing as he always has, which is in a caring environment with state-of-the-art treatment.In the ever-changing world of technology, and with the great advances that occur in orthodontic care, Dr. Patel continues his education through regular training and seminar sessions. He is also an active member in several organizations, including American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association,American Association of Orthodontics, Georgia Association of Orthodontics , Southern Association of Orthodontics , American Board of Orthodontics ,College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Provided by Doctor.comWe have loved Dr. Patel since the moment we met him. Not only has Dr Patel fixed my son's smile but my daughter's as well. He is knowledgeable and attentive to individual needs of each person. His office is clean and inviting and FUN for kids. Dr Patel worked closely with our pediatric dentist to ensure the best results in the least amount of time. His staff is friendly and inviting. It really is a pleasure to go to the orthodontist. I can't recommend Quest Orthodontics enough.

Provided by Doctor.comI was hesistate at first about the treatment needed to change my smile, but when I met Dr. Patel it was amazing at first site. He took the time to explain everything from Day 1, and I felt confident in what he was going to do to my teeth. The only hesitation I had was the availability of appointments.

I started my treatment here after moving from Savannah and Dr Patel and his team made the transition to a new city and new orthodontist office SO smooth! They've have remained friendly and professional throughout the entire experience. Their willingness to explain their process made me feel very confident and comfortable with my treatment plan and I could not be happier with my results! They are the best, hands down!
