Bill at the Appleton location is as honest as it gets. The service is great and expertise is even better. They won't sell you crap and won't sell anything they wouldn't put on their vehicles. Pays to shop small and go with a place that ACTUALLY cares. I fimd that prices are very competitive. As for the review below about a wheel bearing going out, it's possible for any vehicle. I bought a Chevy Silverado 11 years ago new. Changed under warranty wheel bearings 3 times before 100k miles. If a business sees something wrong they try amd jab you for more money while you are there. As for them "breaking" it, very improbable.

I had my tires replaced here. I drove off the lot with a wheel bearing sound in back tire which wasn't there when I came. When I asked about it they denied hearing anything. A few days later bearing gave out & flew into a ditch. Fortunately no one got hurt.

Ray's is great. I had a number of things that I thought were wrong with my car when I brought it into them which in my mind added up to approx $3000. They called me after a couple hours said that they found some of the stuff, not others, and a couple other things. I asked them to re-check under certain circumstances one component that from another mechanic was quoted at $900. When the vehicle was driven a certain way they were able to identify the issue. They fixed 5 different issues and the total charge was $700. Quality mechanics, amazing prices and no up selling that is so prominent in the automotive service industry.
