You would need to call the corporate number for Dousman again and get a hold of the manager. as far as cars passing by while picking up children at the stop. when the bus come to a stop the lights are on, the reds are on and the stop sign is out. cars will pass with yielding to all of the above.

the only thing we can do about the cars passing is take down the license plate number and turn that in to the police department. at that point there's nothing else we can do. other then the normal everyday / every stop practice of educating and working with students about crossing the road, if they have to do that to get on the bus. aka.. watching our mirrors checking traffic front and back, then signaling the children to cross.

far to many people that get behind a bus often check to see if they can pass, I see it everyday I drive. it as if it some huge inconvenience for them to have to wait. we are taught / trained to drive defensively and with caution, speed is never a priority. and many parents get upset over the fact that the bus can be late in heavy rain/snow.

so please remember, we're transporting up to 70 children at a time. a little patience would go along way.

HORRIBLE! Requested a bus rout...

HORRIBLE! Requested a bus route change after my child's route was moved and got no where. It was too much of an inconvenience for them to re-do the route (again). The original route needed to be changed according to them. They also do not see cars passing the bus while my child is boarding as a problem. $$$ over childrens' safety!
