Captain D's Seafood Kitchen

My recent trip to this place was about what I expected from a place that doesn't serve "fresh" seafood. My 11 yr old daughter insisted we eat there, so we reluctantly gave in. First of all, they were out of over half the things they had on their menu and it was only around 7 p.m. (they are open until 10), and I was looking forward to having something that wasn't fried. But the only thing I could order along that line was their baked "flounder". Then they only had "frozen" mac & cheese to order with it. When I got my order, the fish was very mushy and didn't taste good at all. The good part of the visit was the cook happily replaced my fish order with a different type of fish and it was at least edible. I was needless to say very disappointed with this experience and don't plan on eating at Captain D's again. Be wary of eating at a franchise seafood restaurant on the coast when there are places that serve fresh seafood daily that have a much better variety to choose from.
