The staff are rude, unprofessional and show no compassion. I'm a social worker who found myself needing assistance while in search of employment after loosing my job after twenty five years. When I did go there, I found it amazing that the Hispanic population was more likely to receive assistance. The staff speak to people in an intimidating and unworthy tone. They tell you they have no funding and to call back. I ask if I could submit an application and was told no but called back a couple of days later and was told they had accepted all the applications and I should look for a homeless shelter. All this time, I thought these charitable agencies helped individuals in crisis but I seen the lack of true concern for communities. I intend on hopefully bringing these agencies to the forefront and hope they are held accountable for fair distribution of charitable donations for all races, diversity and cultures. This agency gets thumbs down.
