Last night we visited Uncle Julios for dinner and were enjoying a great evening until we were approached at the table by a panhandler. The individual was approximately 11 -14 years old, African American and was selling candy. I got up and informed the receptionist who said her manager knew of the situation. I spoke with the manager and informed her that this is the second incident with which I was not pleased - the previous time I had gone to Uncle Julios the valet took money out of my money cup. She stated that others had complained as well to which I responded, my issue was the lack of follow up from the management when I was told there would be follow up. She then sent the food manager to our table. The food manager, a tall African American approached the table with a hostile approach. His body language and tone was not that of someone who wanted to bring a solution to the table yet was more of someone who would welcome an argument. He stated the panhandler came through the front door and asked to use the restroom. Apparently, they allowed this minor to enter the establishment without adult supervision. I informed the manager of the issue with the panhandler as well as the issue with the valet. His apparent solution was to determine the amount of money which was taken from the valet. It is alarming however that a minor was allowed unaccompanied by an adult into an establishment which sells alcohol. The manager and food manager apparently have no regard for rules and laws established by the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission. These individuals also lack communication and resolution skills.

Provided by SuperpagesJulio's is the best. I frequent this place and others across the country...but Lemon Ave is my fav. Service is always good, and if it's not, just talk to the manager and they make it right. I have never ordered anything but their beef/chicken fajitas with bacon wrapped shrimp. And for larger groups, get the Gordo...dry rub ribs, chicken, beef and shrimp plus all the sides and fixins.

Provided by SuperpagesFun and festive atmosphere with an attentive and efficient waitstaff. The food was excellent, not a lot of menu items that you would expect to see on a mexican food menu. But what I did try was very good and tasty. Their chips and hot sauce were fresh and not too hot, just right. And their margarites were reasonably priced and very tasty.
