I took my kitten there to have her spade. I had absolutely no issues. I brought her in at 7:30am and picked her up after 1:00pm. I read some of the other reviews, and I assume they have fired some of the staff with a poor attitude, because I was treated very well. My kitty healed and was up and playing that same night. Nothing seemed to bother her, and she's still as healthy as can be. The girl who helped my was super sweet and let me know to call anytime if I had any other questions. I'm no doctor, but my kitty is very healthy, so I can only assume they did a great job.

Care and compassion! Prices that can't be beat anywhere in town. Staff is great and efficient! Take all my pets here for vaccines and to get fixed.

Would Never use this place again

What a load of false advertising. I called and told the lady I needed to our two puppies neutered. Was told that it was $35 per pup, plus $10 for the cone collar and $$10 for their medication. According to my math that makes it $55 per puppy. Went to pick up the pups and was told the bill was $240.oo for both of them. A big difference from the $110.00 I was quoted. Would never recommend this place to anyone. It is boiler room operation (no pun intended).

We LOVE Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott is one of the most caring and compassionate individuals on this earth! Dr. Scott loves what he does and it shows. As long as he's in business, he will see our pets. I'm so thankful for veterinarians like him!

I'm reading the last review from feygrrrl right now in complete shock! I have worked for Dr Scott Ruth for almost five years now and he is a very caring man to every animal in the clinic. He gives every animal a pain injection after surgery and we also have a display saying "PAIN MEDICATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY VETERINARIAN" in the clinic and we ask everyone during surgery checkin if they would like pain medication to take home after surgery. Before I started working here I would never think to declaw a cat but after seeing Dr Scott do the surgery and how well the cats recovered afterwards I would recommend it to anyone that needs to have it done. Yes he did own a Wheaten Terrier named Bailey and to this day she visits the clinic for her annual vaccines and is very happy to see Dr Scott. I honestly don't know where you are coming off by posting this very incorrect information on the internet, but I do not think it is right and anyone who knows him knows that this information is false. I have brought all my animals here to be spayed and neutered and recommend all my friends and family here and will continue to do so.

I was a veterinary technician at this clinic for a short while. When I worked there, Dr. Ruth did not give pain medication (Buprenex) for dog or cat spays right after surgery, which is like not offering you morphine when you've had an entire ovariohysterectomy or other invasive abdominal surgery. They always, vomit in their kennels because they're in so much pain. Buprenex or other available injectable pain medication prevents that. When he declaws cats he uses a cheap "guillotine" nail clipper that you can find anywhere...that is a lot more painful and destructive than if a veterinarian did it properly and with care with a scalpel blade. They also get dull very quickly but I never saw him buy new ones. Cat declaws also do not get Buprenex (pain meds). He does offer them to go home with pain meds, but probably for the owner's benefit rather than the cats... He doesn't want anyone to know how he really treats animals. I didn't see any empathy for animals in him at all. I think he doesn't even like animals but thought a veterinary career would bring him good money. He brought his own dog in once, a Wheaten Terrier and all he did was yell at her. Sure, you save money going to his clinic, but your animal suffers. He may be nice to you face to face, but he's a different man when the public is not around. I wouldn't take my animals there for the whole world.

I dont understand why they cant help

I just called to make an appointment for my dogs shots and mentioned he has an ear infection and will need medication. They tell me they cant help with that. Arnt these vetrinarians who are performing the wellness exams and performing spay/ nueter surgeys??? It doesnt make sence to me.

Top Notch!

Dr. Scott and his staff are amazing! They are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do! My dog has only gone to Dr. Scott for vaccinations, and has received other services they offer and I have always been happy and grateful for what they do and how well my dog has always been treated! Also, the prices can't be beat! Thank you Dr. Scott and staff for the work you do!

Didn't get service that was requested

Asked for Bortatella and Heartworm test... recieved Bortatella and Distemper vac. Be careful if you take your pet here. They are very busy and didn't pay attention to what I asked for. My dog only got half of what he needed and recieved a vac he didn't need. Would this be okay if it was a child? I think not!

GREAT GREAT GREAT!

Dr. Scott is great and I trust him with all of my animals. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they even play with the dogs in the lobby while you wait! The prices are the best in town, (including declawing). I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

Absolutely ridiculous price for declawing

Your cat is already under when they do the spay/neuter and then they charge this on top for what takes moments to do!!!
