**BUYER BEWARE**
The tech came, he was nice and professional. Was with him the whole time and he explained every step.
Took him 1 min to open up the rear, plug something in the back, heard humming and buzzing, and said it needed a compressor. Said they would order it and would call me later in the day or the next to set up an appt. Never called!
I called them myself on Monday. Now the fun begins!
A rep gets on, and says, they need a deposit to pay for the compressor. Told him I had a full warranty and I shouldn't have to pay for anything. Then he started to stutter and mumble, and put me on hold. At this point I got the feeling I was about to be taken for a ride.
The next guy gets on, says he's the manager, and says that after realizing the compressor was bad, the tech started to investigated (not true) and realized the water lines were rusted, which killed the compressor. Since corrosion is not covered, and although they tried to get the warranty to cover it, the company still denied the claim, and I needed to pay a (large) deposit.
I called the company, which told me they never denied the claim, they approved it! I explained the story to them, they sent out another company, which came, checked it out, and said "no problem, we'll fix it!"
If your company sends Wind, refuse the service!

Absolutely terrible. I spoke with a 'professional' customer service rep and she told me my appointment was between the times of 12:30 to 3:30. I said I would not be home until 1 is that Okay? She said it will be fine but if there is trouble they will call me. I got home at 1 and waited and waited ...for no one. I called Monday morning and they told me I missed my appointment and have to call the company I have my contract with because they will no longer do business with me. They also said they didn't have any record of me telling them I would be home at 1. This problem has been going on for 4 weeks and no resolution yet

i just had my dryer fix by Wind service and I am very pleased. The service man showed up on time and fixed the problem with parts he had in stock on the truck. I would highly recommend Wind service

I told them the story, they sent out another Repair Co, who came, checked it out, and said "no problem, we'll fix it!" If your company sends Wind, refuse the service!

Provided by SuperpagesJust had my Jennair oven repaired. This was my first time using Wind Service and it was by far the best service experience I have had. Very professional and courteous and actually gave me a better price than they first estimated. I trust them and will use them again, if needed!

Stayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy away!!!!!! We have a recalled cooktop which turns itself on (potential fire hazard). The company which is in the same town as us sets up an appointment with us. We ask for the END of the day because we work in the City. Well they call the night before to leave a message on my husband's cell phone telling us we have a 10 AM appointment the next morning. My daughter remains home from work to let the serviceman in. My husband calls the company to tell them YES someone will be home. In the time it took my daughter to put the dogs out in the yard and answer the front door, she WATCHED the serviceman DRIVEWAY! Not eve a call to say "hey we are here please open the door". Called the office and the rude girl who took the call refused to send the serviceman back to our home and they expect us to live without the cooktop for another week. I guess this is their good business practices when it's a "freebie" because of the recall. Shows you how concerned they are for peoples saftey. BEWARE - Too bad I had to give it 1 star. They deserve none.

Provided by SuperpagesDO NOT USE THEM! THE TECHNICIANS OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING IF THEY NEED TO COME BACK AND REPAIR THE SAME ITEM ON THE SAME MACHINE 4 TIMES. THEY ALSO FALSIFY DOCUMENTS AND WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU TO GET DOCUMENTATION AND ITEMS THAT YOU NEED TO LIVE IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT THAT INCLUDES ELECTRICAL MACHINES. THIS COMPANY WROTE THAT I REFUSED SERVICE ON A BILL WHEN THE TECHNICIAN WAS IN MY HOUSE FOR OVER AN HOUR AND TOOK APART MY ENTIRE WASHER/DRYER STACKABLE COMBO AND TOLD ME IT WAS GOOD TO GO AND I NEED TO WAIT 7-10 DAYS FOR THE SEALANT TO SEAL. THE NEXT DAY THAT FALSIFIED THE ORDER WITH A STATEMENT SAYING THAT I REFUSED SERVICE, YET THEY DO NOT AND CANNOT PRODUCE MY SIGNATURE FOR IT. NOW I CANNOT GET A NEW MACHINE FOR THIS ONE THAT COULD HAVE BURNT DOWN MY HOUSE AND/OR KILLED MY FIVE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. THE MACHINE IS UNDER A YEAR OLD. THESE PEOPLE OBVIOUSLY ARE RUNNING A SCAM WITH JAYS APPLIANCES IN LEVITTOWN, WHERE THE MACHINE WAS BOUGHT. THEY SENT ME HERE FOR FIX
