My bartender, Edra, was just delightful. She was fast, charming, prompt, and just great. I will be back!

They have tv's. Lots and lots of them with many different games on at the same time. This is what a sports bar should be. Each booth has its own screen that they can control. If that's not enough for you, you can look on the walls behind the bar and find any game you want.

Ive always been a fan of Public. The roof deck provides a nice alternative to the sports bar. It's a good chill spot for hanging out with friends. The lower levels are great for watching sports and then convert into a dance floor late night. The bartenders are awesome! They do it right and reminded me why I used to enjoy bartending. They talk to you, joke around, and are attentive with your orders. I'm a fan and will be back

Best place to start or end the night. Always our go-to spot! 3rd floor at the rooftop is always packed but 1st and 2nd indoor bars are fun too

Public Bar isn't such a bad place for an after-work Happy hour - especially if you're looking for cheap drinks, bar snacks, and an rooftop seating that tends to go away rather quickly in DC.

My husband & I were looking for a place to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs and we were at one place and I wasn't a fan of the food options so we wound up here and it was a fantastic place to watch the game

Just went to this place last night and it was surprisingly good! Early in the night the music was awesome on the first floor and there were an unusually large number of attractive men, far outnumbering the women. Everyone seemed to be in mid 20s to early 30s, which was nice because I prefer to avoid the young scruffy college kid scene. The bouncers do get a little zealous at times... my friend was thrown out just for "looking too drunk," but at least that keeps the people who really do need to go home from getting sloppy drunk on the dance floor. My drinks were strong but I was sipping patron, $10 a drink, not too bad. By about 2:30 am the music wasn't as good anymore, but we only made it to the second floor, maybe it would have been better another floor up. I had a really fun night though!

The rooftop bar is awesome when the weather is nice. Drinks aren't too expensive, this place gets the job done for a night out in DuPont

My favorite was the top floor. It seemed bigger and they had better music playing! I had a great time after finding a small area that was behind packed.



Drinks or normal priced, around $10 each. The crowd was mid to l ate 20's, perfect for my group of friends. There was no cover when i went on Saturday night!
