Medication Assisted Treatment Program for Opioid Dependence
General Info
PIDARC (Partners in Drug Abuse Rehabilitation Counseling) was founded in 1971 in response to a request from Washington DCs then Narcotic Treatment Agency, to develop the only private alternative to the citys large network of publicly run outpatient methadone treatment programs. PIDARC is a program of The Foundation for Contemporary Mental Health, a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization. People, who are addicted to drugs, come from all walks of life. PIDARCs patients are adults, 21 years of age or older, with opioid dependence, including heroin, oxycontin, and other prescription narcotic pain medications. They have abused drugs and now they want help through outpatient treatment to stop using drugs and rebuild their lives. PIDARC has earned a local and growing national reputation for clinical excellence and continually expanding innovative services.
