When I first looked into getting treatment I didn't know if this was the right course of action. I didn't have a full understanding of why I was so anxious of why my emotions were so out of control all the time. I normalized a lot of my feelings. On my first visit Dr. Patel was wonderful, super patient and understanding of what I was saying even when I wasn't sure what I was trying to say myself. He explained every thing to me and make me feel like I wasn't crazy. I am super grateful of Dr. Patel and his front office staff. They helped me so much.

The staff is always ready to help. Dr. Patel does great listening to what we have to say and takes that into consideration.

Promptly helps with issues and takes the time to discuss anything presently happening in your life. Overall one of the more positive experiences I've had with Psychiatric Care.

Without Dr. Patel's help and guidance, my life would be in a very worse place. He is always tentative and very understanding and knows how to adjust to the situation.

Today Dr. recommended some reading material he feels will help me and also the names of a few therapists. I look forward to working with these new methods of treatment.

I am writing this AFTER my appointment this morning because I wasn't certain what my experience was. I found this. Dr. Patel is very mellow and very, politely, consistent, and persistent. (I tend to keep everything off course. Dr. Patel made several observations that I considered a bit... strong... for only a few visits, and limited exposure. However both observations were correct (but no one likes one who touches sore spots). In the firsts meeting he also made an incisive comment on my "social" drinking problem that made do an instant pivot from having a social problem to having a control of alcohol problem. So far he has been straight with me, even though we have bumped heads, but it has been to my advantage in getting in control of myself. I appreciate that straightness delivered in a quiet manner, and keeping me on track during the session. I recommend him highly, but listen to him and give him some time, and the benefit of any doubt.

Dr was extremely easy to talk to about my issues. I felt good about his diagnosis and feel good about continueing to see him.
