Red Maple

The outside is crappy looking but the inside is really nice. It's new so it was super clean. The food was fresh and delicious, and in my opinion fairly priced. Service was fast.

My wife and I ate there a couple weeks ago, and we thought it was very good.



I had the sashimi. It was very fresh. You could tell the manager was very proud of it. He came to our table and just beamed.



My wife had a bento box with tempura shrimp. She said it was some of the best tempura she had eaten.



Yes, the waitress was new and trying very hard. You could tell she had never worked in a Japanese restaurant before. I suspect she is a lot more experienced now.



In any event, the restaurant was on its shake-our cruise. So the service was a little shaky, but the kitchen is excellent.



I am just grateful to have a full service restaurant with a liquor license on the corner. I really hope they are successful. We are planning on eating there again in a few days when we go to the Silver Spring Stage. I think that is a great combo.



One thing, I would advise them, however, is the really need to have a lunch menu. My wife went there with our granddaughter the other day, and she felt it was just too much food for too much money for lunch.

I've never been here. The reviews for the Silver Spring location look promising. But I would like to see a menu attached to the website before making the journey.
