Cryotherapy
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), frequently used genital wart treatments include topical medications, immunomodulators, cryotherapy, surgical removal, or laser therapy.

Cervical Cancer
According to Mayo Clinic, an HPV test is used by physicians to check for presence of HPV. Since the virus can cause cellular changes to the cervix, some doctors perform the test when a woman gets a Pap test. Almost one hundred percent of all women diagnosed with cervical cancers are also infected with one or more specific HPV types. Most female patients of age thirty and older should be tested for HPV on a regular basis. If the Pap and HPV tests are negative, the patient’s risk of developing cervical cancer is considered low.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a gentle imaging technique utilizing sound waves to distinguish between different types of tissues. The sound waves are reflected uniquely based on the properties of each tissue type. These properties help physicians distinguish between normal and abnormal and benign and malignant structures.

Chemotherapy
Topical treatments typically involve the daily or otherwise regular use of skin creams. Most often, this is a form of topical chemotherapy, which will target cancerous cells to destroy them and eliminate skin cancer. In these cases, you simply use the topical treatment on a regular basis for the recommended length of time. You will have regular visits with your dermatologist during this period to ensure that the treatment is working as planned. Other non-invasive treatment options include photodynamic therapy and superficial radiotherapy.

Mohs Surgery
Today, there are a variety of ways to treat skin cancer. However, Mohs surgery involves the removal of skin cancer with a very narrow surgical margin, plus a high cure rate. In fact, the cure rate cited by most scientific research is between 97% and 99.8% for basal cell carcinoma, the most common type of skin cancer. In addition, the Mohs technique unites thorough microscopic margin control with the least amount of skin removal.

Skin Cancer
Squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common type of skin cancer, behind basal cell carcinoma. As the name suggests, it affects the skin’s squamous cells. The squamous cells are the cells that make up the outermost layer of the skin. Once affected, the skin will begin to rapidly produce new cells, creating bumps, scaly patches and other unusual growths. Squamous cell carcinoma typically develops as a response to UV damage, such as that due to sun exposure or tanning bed use. As a result, it is most often found on the face, neck and arms. Although it is quite common, squamous cell carcinoma can still be serious and should be treated as soon as possible.
