        Had take out, I had waited a long time to try it SO disappointed bread sour dough stale, cheese meat ok, but nothing else on it but very little....cole slaw yuck, to much pepper, no nothing else but a bag of soggy pickles you u pick yourself, skip it and over priced

        Worth every penny

        This was the most wonderful place for lunch. Beautiful setting wonderful food and the prices were perfect. Amazing for a lunch date. Quiet and comfortable. Not enough prase for the Backstreet Restraunt.

        During our many years in service, we have been voted the Best Lunch Place, Best Outdoor Dining, Best Kept Secret, Best Power Lunch, and the Best Garden Lunch Place in Riverside. In 2000, Mac & Barb were ready to retire. They sold the business to their youngest daughter Kitty and her husband Keith Holloway. The Inland Empire Magazine has since voted us Best Sandwiches and Best Outdoor Dining in the Inland Empire the last two years. In 2021, Keith and Kitty were ready to retire. They sold the business to long time family friends, the Reinhardt's. Alan Reinhardt and his fiance, Hilda Boltz, kept all the food the same, cooked and sliced fresh daily, following in the footsteps of mom and pop Halloway and McCluskey.
