Hikari Uni Sushi

We were passing by after I was done paying the water bill my wife and I were hungry and decided to stop in. The place is really nice and the staff is very friendly. We had stuffed jalapeños as an appetizer which by the way are half off on Thursday and they rocked then we each got a roll and an order of green Aguachiles everything was delicious we are definitely coming back to try out other things on the menu because they have a wide range of food to pick from from rolls to delicious mariscos not to mention the good looking special during the week.

I was told about this place because my friend recommended it. I was a bit unsure because of the location when I walk in they have three tvs showing sports and playing mexican music the place was clean and friendly staff. I tried the yellow tail roll and the Lisa Lisa roll it was delicious and will definately come back again after finding this hidden treasure.

With a name like Hikari Uni Sushi I never thought I would be in a beautiful little restaurant, reading a menu of Japanese food while listening to Spanish on one of the three TVs above the sushi bar. But it didn't take long to realize the waitress didn't understand the complicated question of 'how many pieces are in an order of gyoza?' My question was answered by a gentleman I assume is the owner or manager and we finished ordering.

The hot food was good and my husband said the tuna nigri and spicy tuna roll were good, but because my Japanese husband, Japanese and white children and my pale white self don't speak Spanish, the service lacked.
