Was reminiscing about my childhood wasting away the days playing Sega. I then decided to look for a Sega Genesis on Craigslist. I saw an ad for a store called Fallout Games, headed on over. When I got there I was amazed, the place was packed with video games & consoles from the 80's, 90's, & today. Only complaint wait was a little long as they had 4 or 5 other people in line. Picked out a 16 Bit Genesis & a few games, Sonic, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat, Phantasy Star and Road Rash. I play PS3 as well and their used game selection was better than the Gamestop by my place. Took the Genesis home it hooked up to the flat screen with no problems, the memories. Anyways will return Wonderful Vintage Video Game Store.
Great little shop, selection is amazing always bring my son here before I go to Gamestop. Guys behind the counter always help me find games appropriate for his age, definitely recommend.
I stumbled upon this place when I was looking for a wii on craigslist and they had the cheapest price on anything that I've seen. So, I went in to visit them and noticed that they deal in retro games and systems that go back all the way to the Atari. So, I took all of my PS1, PS2, N64 and PSP games that I never touch anymore (mostly PS1 and PS2) and they gave me $240 of in store credit. I was amazed!!! They by far give you more for trade-ins then I have ever seen. Needless to say, Christmas shopping is done!!! If you are looking to trade games in not matter how old, looking for awesome prices on used thing, or looking for some retro games, you must check this place out.
Man @tyrone85254 if I had a chance to pay $30 for a Genesis, that was checked by the staff and approved to be sold, I would of jumped on that deal! Over at Bookmans they are charging $35. Sounds like I am the that got ripped off. Keep up the good work Fallout.
Small store with a huge selection, the prices are good, employees are nice and helpful. Purchased a used PS3 here a few months ago and been coming back for games ever since.
Fallout Games What can I say about this place? Its a treasure. The family that runs the place is super nice, incredibly helpful, and have a sense of humor as well. They'll let you demo games before you buy them, and while back in the day most privately owned places did this, they've all been swallowed by the emotionless monster that is Gamestop/EB Games. If you want a great deal whether you're buying, trading in for a new system, or just selling.. definitely check this place out. They deal in EVERYTHING video game related.. Nintendo..Atari.. Dreamcast..PS3..360.. you name it they've more than likely got it. They deal with game strategy guides [used] as well as a plethora of video game systems & accessories. This place is a MUST visit.
I've been playing videogames since childhood and have been to a lot of videogame stores. When I say a lot, I mean it. Big chains and small business owned. But this place is the ultimate video game store. Prices are more than reasonable, the staff is GREAT, personal, knowledgeable about product, and honest. They give great incentive on trade in mercandise, and its nice to not be treated like a walking dollar. They even repair the most scratched discs to amazement. If you second guessed this place, its a lot bigger than it looks and YOU'VE GOT TO SEE IT YOURSELF. Everytime I come back, there's more racks up with new stuff. I also have to admit my skepticism of used games. In the past I've purchased a used ps2 game, and it skipped, froze, etc. Then I'd be upset on the way back to the gamestore. This just doesn't happen at Fallout Games. Every used game I've purchased looks BRAND NEW on the bottom if not they repair it. By the way, GREAT USED GAME PRICES.
My kids and I drive down from Prescott to go to this place. They've got a great selection of new & used games. Fallout Games primarily stocks used games (which is helpful when you want to save money). The employees know about the games I have questions about - as opposed to Gamestop where they usually only claim knowledge about popularity. Also, they buy used games at really good prices - you don't feel like you're being ripped off. We've always had a good experience here, I highly recommend it.
