The prior owners did a DIY project into the 1920s original brickwork, leaving it not only looking terrible, but also structurally questionable. I thought for sure it was unsalvageable. Bob's crew put the wall back to what it was originally, and we couldn't be happier!!

The price was great and Bob was very easy to talk with about the project from start to finish. He came and did an inspection of the proposed work beforehand, and walked me thorough what his crew would be doing. Throughout the process I had peace of mind knowing that everything would be done well, and Bob and his crew did not disappoint. The crew was very considerate of the space and left the area cleaner than when they left. When I had questions during the process out of curiosity, the crew gladly answered them in an easy and understandable way.

Even after the project was done, when we explained that we had a mailbox being shipped in that we were hesitant to install into the brick, Bob told us not to worry about it, and that he would have his crew come out and install it. He viewed it as simply a continuation of getting the job done, and we are so thankful for the added steps he took to help get our home back to its original historic appearance.

Bob came out within 24 hours to inspect our wall that had been damaged when a car came racing thru the fence and knocked out 30 feet of masonry wall. He gave us a bid the same day and others said it would be a week to even get a bid. Their work was amazing and they build the block walls to code unlike some others that give out lowball pricing. I would recommend them for anyone needing work on a block wall who wants it to stand thur our monsoon seasons.

Building Block Masonry just finished repairing the retaining wall around my back yard. It had been water damaged due to old/ improper water-proofing and no drainage holes. My yard sits about 5 feet above the desert floor so it is very important that this wall stays intact. The owner of the company, Bob Bivens, thoroughly assessed the damage and provided his expert opinion on what needed to be done. I was relieved to find out that he didn't have to re-build the wall. They were able to schedule the work very quickly and even completed the job ahead of schedule. Bob even personally came over and reviewed the work that his crew did to make sure all was done well. Bob and his crew are very professional, honest, always prompt, and did quality work.

After a friend referred Building Block Masonry to me, I called and talked to the owner. He was very knowledgeable and advised me the best way to fix my retaining wall that had damage. His crew was respectful of our home and always cleaned up after each day. My wall looks great! I feel more secure now, knowing the materials used and skill that went into building my wall was finally done right. We contacted Building Block Masonry and the owner Bob came over to hear our ideas. We needed a patio paver walkway all around our new build house and an existing wall taken down to add a decorative gate in. WOW!! After hearing Bob's suggestions, we could never even imagine the possibilities! Our track home was transformed! The Building Block crew was always on time, cleaned up after each days work and they were so respectful. My daughter is now calling them for a custom outdoor kitchen! We can't say enough great things about the work that Building Block Masonry did. Highly Recommend!

We called Building Block Masonary, Inc. to do a 100 foot block wall for our back yard. These guys are incredible. There work is beautiful. I can not say enough about this company. They arrived on time, very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and they go above & beyond the call of duty. This is the only company I will use and I will refer them to all of my friends & family!
