The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional.Has it all, good atmosphere and huge portions for your money.I'ts a very inviting place, the food is of course , authentic and prepared by cuban cooks and is absolutely delicious.
Oh my goodness!!! I love this restaurant. I came by for a few cocktails after work and ended up with coconut shrimp tapas, awesome chicken pinchos with this carribean barbeque glaze, and tres leches for dessert. The mojitos are amazing, I began with a traditional cuban mojito but ended up trying two more types including a cosmojito-yes that's right a cosmopolitan mojito, and a mojitarita witch was a twist of mojito and a margarita. My Bartender Brad was explaining to me this restaurant originated over 30 years ago when the Padrino's left their winery and groceria from cuba to make authentic cuban cuisine in south florida. No wonder the food and drinks were amazing, they are made from scratch, authentic, and perfected. The prices were set incredibly reasonable for the quality of service and food. I will be back many more times.
I visited Padrino's for the first time last week and have been back twice. I have lived in Hunter's Creek for more than 10 years and finnaly have a restaurant worth talking about. You can feel the love that has been put into this restaurant, the service was spot on and very infomative, our server told us about the history of the restaurant which is new to Orlando but family owned in South Florida for over 30 years! You Must start off your meal with the Picadillo empenados and look into the drink menu, which was put together by Aaron who is one of the owners, and you have got to try the Mojito's(yes plural I think there is 10 of them). For entrees the must try is the skirt steak and the seafood paella, and don't even think you can pass on the desserts, all made from scratch and all delicious, yes we tried all of them! I always begged for a restaurant a little closer than Dr.Phillips or driving over to Winter Park, and now I not only have one closer but I think its better. You loyal patron Christian Peterson
