Sinusitis
Sinusitis is common in the winter. It may last for months or years if it is not properly treated. Colds are the most common cause of acute sinusitis, but people with allergies are at higher risk for developing sinusitis.
Pediatric Care
Dr. Angela Ahuja Malik is a Mississippi native who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Millsaps College with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency there in 2004. Dr. Malik served as Chief Resident of Pediatrics after completing her residency at UMMC. During this time she served on faculty as associate professor of pediatrics where she was involved in teaching medical students and residents. She was an attending physician of general pediatrics and the neonatal intensive care unit. She completed her fellowship in asthma, allergy, and immunology at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO, in 2007. National Jewish Health has been ranked the #1 respiratory hospital in the U.S. for the last 13 years since 1998.

Family Practice
Gen has been a NP since 2001 and joined Allergy and Asthma Specialists in 2023. She earned her Master's in Nursing with honors from Regis College specializing in Family Medicine. She has spent the last 20+ years in primary care with a focus on Allergy care. Gen works with all age groups and enjoys building long term relationships with patients optimizing health and wellness. Gen lives locally with her family. Outside of work you can catch her in her garden, at Pure Barre, hiking with her dog, trying out a new recipe or reading a good book on the beach.

Dr. David Gruenberg is a native of Massachusetts. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carleton College and received his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2005. Following a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont, he completed a fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin in 2010.

Eczema
Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a chronic dry, itchy, red rash that can be triggered by many different factors. This skin condition is common and can occur in all age groups. Foods, environmental allergens, and chemicals can be possible allergic etiologies that cause eczema to flare. Treatment centers around avoidance of potential allergic triggers as well as maintenance of skin hydration.

Our allergists are board certified in Allergy and Immunology and have trained at several of the top training programs in the country including Harvard Medical School, National Jewish Respiratory Center and Albert Einstein Medical College. We participate in the Maintenance of Certification Program. Dr. Liang has been awarded the Prestigious Top Doctor Award 2011.
