Rancho Nipomo Deli & BBQ

Due to reviews under the impression this place was a good place to try. Ordered Santa Maria BBQ sandwich and red chili plate both were very subpar and over priced. Owner prepared our order he was more concerned with talking on the phone and to friends that came in than to getting our order out. This place as not busy other than other couple that arrived after us and finished their food before we were served. The Tri-tip sandwich was served on a hard over toasted bread with a small side of bbq sauce as it was measured out exactly. No one check to see how our meal was nor was the cashier friendly just matter of fact. Save your money and time. One star is an over value.

Everything at Rancho Nipomo is delicious, so its hard to decide what you want. They're known for their pulled pork sandwich's but my favorite has to be the Tri-Tip and with that fresh homemade salsa bar it just knocks it out the park. Ohh and the chili verde burrito is a must get.

The pulled pork sandwich is awesome. Get the slaw on it. Big so unless you have a huge appetite or plan to share, get the small.
