        The Ruby Slipper Cafe is one of the busiest, friendliest and most delicious little cafes in our fair city. The Chef turns out great traditional breakfasts and lunches, but keep an eye out for the very creative daily specials. I adore the chunky chicken salad sandwich, to say nothing of the "endless" cup of java served in one of those big french coffee cups. Love it! Tucked off Canal St. behind Mandina's, I've always found parking close by, even on Sundays, which can bet busy after 10:30. Just put your name on the guest list and stroll around the sweet Mid-City neighborhood. Remember to check back, the line moves quickly. Treat yourselves to a trip to The Ruby Slipper Cafe, you will not be dissapointed!

        The greatest addtion to Mid City!!!!!! Crab cakes to die for, scones, muffins and red velvet cake cupcakes to drool over.
